About the awards

For over a decade, the New Generation Awards have been identifying the true leaders in South Africa's communication, media, and digital technology industries.

With 59 industry-specific categories, New Gen is the most prestigious independent digital media awards program in the country. The awards recognize outstanding and innovative result-driven marketing campaigns, the best use of social and digital media, and cutting-edge tech solutions employed by leading companies, agencies, and individuals to promote their brands and products in disruptive and pioneering ways.

Entries will be considered for work that has been commercially launched in South Africa between 01 May 2023, and 14 June 2024.

The categories include corporate awards, agency awards, online media and tools awards, student and individual awards, and the main overall awards categories. The winners will be announced at a prestigious awards gala ceremony in September, held at The Hilton Hotel, Sandton.

Entry fees

2024 entry fees: Prices ex VAT

  • R1,750 per entry/category for all entries submitted into Corporate Categories, Agency Categories, and Online Media and Tools Categories.

  • R1,850 per entry/category for all entries submitted into Main Overall Award Categories.

  • R950.00 per entry submitted into the Best Individual Influencer Marketer Category.

  • R800.00 - Student Rate per entry - Individual and Group Submissions.

Our accounts department will issue an invoice to you, once we have received your submissions. Full payment for all entry submissions is required before the judging begins.

Payment Method - Standard eft - We do not accept Credit Card payments.

NO REFUNDS: Under no circumstances ‘will refunds be issued to entrants/clients, for any fees or costs, relating to entries, seats, or sponsorships into the New Gen Awards.
